White portions

I find loose snus to be harsher on the gums than portioned varieties. Original and white portions don't seem to irritate my gums more than the other; however, I exclusively use Swedish Match brands. Skruf white portions seem to be softer than SM white portions. Perhaps Knox portions are made from a cheaper and more irritating material.

I find white's much harsher on my gums to the point I avoid them. You are not alone.

In my experience white portions can be harder on the gums then regular portions, but some white portions are harder on the gums than other white portions, if that makes any sense. However, I've never had a snus that was so hard on my gums that I just couldn't do it. I've just noticed slightly more of an ache, but nothing terrible.

The hardest on my gums was Skruf Natural Selection WP. Again, not so hard that I didn't finish the tin, but I won't buy it again simply because I didn't like the flavor.

I'd also say that General WP is slightly harder on my gums then General OP, but I still love General WP.

Just wanted to ask a quick question about white portions. I was trying knox white and these things just kill my gums. No problem with normal portions or with loose. Was just curious if white portions in general are a bit harsher or if it's the brand. Was hoping to try some general mint white and other flavours but figured I'd get some info before I make an order.

I prefer white portions. Never had knox and really am partial to SM white portions over V2. Having my first Odens white as I type and am digging it more than V2 as well. Definitely try some others and make sure you soften em up with your fingers and wet with your tongue before putting in place....
