Olde Viking/Olde Ving Original Portion

I also don't taste anything like General with this one. Not a thing. It has the Extreme tangy-citrus element in my opinion -- like someone else said, similar to Jaks original. Or Taboca. Good snus, but I am trading mine off for my beloved Odens Original ES. Haven't had any in weeks.

Doesnt taste like General OP to me, different taste profile. More like Jac's Classic. But, I like it a bit better.

Also, similar taste profile to Offroad original but infinitely better.

Don't have anything against General OP, but this has much stronger flavor with some natural sweetness in the tobacco offset by a bittersweet orangy grapefruity taste in the flavoring, whereas General OP has a more neutral tobacco flavor with just a touch of lemon and smoke/black pepper flavor.

Olde Ving sounds too weird. GN, you should brand it as "Olde Víkingur". It brings back the beloved Viking mark, and it's done in the original Viking language.

... or you can use "Gamall Víkingur" if you want to go all out with the Viking theme.

Seriously...........Old V(ik)ing is some of the best portioned snus out there.

The original and the Ginger are both A+++++++++

Just want to add that with every portion I am loving this more and more. As I use this snus, new flavors and perceptions develop. I can smell expensive tea in it and I can smell oils. This is indeed the most successful "clone" of General OP but its also more - its far superior to General. It smells and taste rather exclusive, there is nothing else in the world of snus that would resemble Olde Ving.... and its quite strong as well, not as strong as Extreme though but comes very close to Skruf Stark portion.

So its called Olde Ving now and is actually a very good portion snus.... an excellent one actually. Comes in a stylish can and the "trash compartment" is specious enough to accommodate a large number of used portion.
The smell and taste of this snus comes very close to that of General portion, a bit oily and peppery but not as spicy as Oden's Original Extreme. Feels very soft on the gums. Summarizing my experience with Olde Ving in a single sentence.... if you look for a decent replacement for General portion, then go for this one 'cause this is the closest you can get to original SM tastes.

The only downside is that the can only contains 18 grams, thus 18 portions of snus. On the other hand this snus is selling at a very good price.

If you have not tried Olde Ving yet, throw some cans in your next order with Odenssnus, you won't be disappointed!

Olde Viking is excellent. I went through the tin quicker than I usually do for portions. I'd equate it with a General replacement more than Ettan, but it's been awhile since I've had either in portion form.

My god I love this stuff! Been using it for awhile, just never got around to reviewing it. I think I could easy replace my staple General White with this. Will def. be used as a replacement for LD when I run out. It has a natural Swedish snus taste. If your a fan of the standard General or General White, give this a go.
