Welcome! You sound quite well traveled! I tried Makla in the past but wasn't a fan of it, myself.

The flavor is kind of bland and you can taste the clay in it but it does pack a nice nic kick. I use it first thing in the morning after I eat then coast the rest of the day on standard American dip. I usually get around 2 hours with one prilla about the size of a great northern bean.

Just waiting til I get home to get my hands on my snus orders so I can start working on some semblance of a rotation.

As far as well traveled goes......
England, Iceland, France, wales, Scotland, Nova Scotia, Jordan, Israel.

Will be going to the Philippines to meet my fiancés family in February. While there we will go to Japan, Okinawa, Bangkok, and Malaysia. As well as visiting a lot of the bigger islands.

Then in October of 18 we are going on our belated honey moon cruise to Alaska. After that it depends on how well the travel business we are working on getting set up does as to where else we end up traveling to!

So yes kinda well travelled! With plans for the future!

So I have been a long time lurker here and finally decided to take the plunge and join. So I have been using American dip since I was 8 yrs old. Yup started by stealing from my brothers stash I was curious when I saw him using some so I tried it a liked it. That was 32 years ago! My how time flies! Anyway in the last few years I had heard of Swedish snus and was curious so I started researching about it. My first foray into snus was general mint white portions. Honestly I was seriously under welmed with the flavor and strength of them. That was last year. This year I made a trip to Amman Jordan and stupid me I didn't bring enough dip to make it through. Spent about 5 days near the end of the trip dealing with the lack of my vitamin N. seriously not a fun experience. Anyway it was on my way home to the states that I found makla ifrikia in Paris. I found that I really liked it! The taste was meh but the nic hit was impressive. That set me on the mission to explore snus from more than a research perspective. It was time to step up to the plate and get serious. I put in m first order with snuscentral at the beginning of this month and order 15 cans of lós and 15 cans of portions. Not sure what I'm going to end up with but super excited to see what I get and to try everything and see what I like and what I don't like. Yes I will be putting what I don't like In The freezer to revisit at a later time. Who knows my taste might change. Also I am interested in making my own snus so I will likely attempt that in the coming future. As I love the idea of being self sufficient when it comes to my habits. Anyway look foreword to talking to the people here until next time snus on!!!!

The 2 orders I made were from buysnus. Also want to throw out a thank you to Mathias for the incredibly fast responses to my emails and putting up with my noobish mistakes! Lol!

So here it is the 13th of may! I have made 2 orders with buysnus and both orders have arrived at my home! Combined I have 76 cans of snus awaiting my arrival at home! Can't wait to get there!

Impatience has gotten the better of me! Lol stopped at a tiny little truck stop in Ohio this morning and found that they had general original portion as well as mint and wintergreen.

Bought 2 cans each to tide me over till I get home here on the 18 th. Have cracked open the original and the wintergreen. Maybe it's just me but they both seem a little bland but that's ok with me as I'm still used to only using stokers lc straight and Copenhagen snuff.

Finding that the salty taste is a lot less than I was expecting. But it's noticeable enough to throw off the old tastebuds. Not a big deal as my tastes in food tend to run to the very salty side. Lol! Yet when it comes to dip I seem to have a sweet tooth.

Am thinking 8 mg strength might not be enough to take care of my cravings as I am definitely not feeling satisfied with the general. I might try 2 portions and see if that helps.

Anyway just wanting to say thanks to all the members here who have contributed to this forum and the information it contains! You have created a place where snus newbies; such as myself; can come to to learn about snus and what it is and what it is not! It has been an invaluable resource in helping me learn about snus and making it easier for me to make the change over.

Once I get home I will post what I have received from both orders that I did with snuscentral. As well as the other little goodies that I got!
