The castle doctrine is by far my favorite law. If you come in my house be prepared to ingest some 38 special.

Personally I don't have anything against gun ownership. I just would never own one as either my son or my wife would probably turn it on me  . However my namesake, Maximus, is for our 4 and half mo old Rottweiler that has already demonstrated a deep love for us and will be quite the deterrent to anyone wanting to come in. 8) . I think I will have to post some pics of him as he gets older.

Hah, now if only Jersey legislature would get the actual message of the video. Or maybe they already do and most of them are criminals themselves... that honestly wouldn't surprise me. Oh well, dad's got a .357 magnum at home and knows full well how to use it. I'll be going for my license this summer when I'm home. I'd still prefer to be in the Dakotas.

i have a model 1911 Springfield 45acp...and when i turn 21, on that very day im marching down to the court house, and getting my concealed weapons permit (even though i dont need one to carry a pistol in montana as long as i carry it in plain sight) and im going to put that pistol in shoulder holster, and carry it with me every single place i can, because i believe if you dont exercise your rights, you loose them.

                Gun control simply means...........aiming properly.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

You guys know how I roll.

I have a good bit of guns in the house, and I have my 'work guns' in my bedroom, between my dresser and my wall. At arm's length i have a Rock River Arms M-4 (ar-15) with an EOTech and a surefure tactical light/set up for CQB and serving search warrants, and a Bushmaster M-4 that can do double duty, a 14''Mossberg 500A with a surefire tac light, an Armalite ar-10, and my new Rem. 700 chambered in .243 Win... set up and modified for my capacity as a tactical marksman...both of those with a Leupold Mark IV optic. On or in the dresser, respectively, is a Glock 22,23, and 27.
Depending on the day, maybe my MP-5 is there. (A picture of me shooting it in a previous thread.) My SOCOM II is in the closet and not to be touched by anyone.

All are always ready to rock, and so am I.

God help the man that breaks into my house or tries to visit harm upon my family.

That's my plan after the Marines. Get a place in the Dakotas, have shepherds, horses, and enough weapons and munitions to form my own division. Meanwhile I'm stuck in Jersey. Ugh. Near impossible to get a CCW permit unless you give a generous 'contribution' to someone's political fund.

Oh shit, I forgot about the shepherds...got those too...one black, one white, and the choc lab... My shepherd, Nietzsche, is my partner and my buddy. He would die to protect us.

Good God, man. If anyone breaks into your house they'll be carrying him out in a shopvac.
