Good luck with that one.

Geez, this guy sells about 10 or so different specialty items, he is not my guru and I don't follow his diet plan. I like his coffee recipe and I substitute red palm oil for butter since I have dairy allergies, If you want to checkout the diet I follow go to one of these sites... www.perfecthealthdiet.com www.marksdailyapple.com, or www.chriskresser.comOriginally posted by wa3zrm View PostI agree... Boy, a few of you are getting overly worked up about replacing creamer in your coffee with butter and mct oil. I don't live off a cup of buttered coffee. I eat beef, pork, fish and fowl, as well as fruits, vegetables and limited grains. I eat and love bacon. Who said bacon was off the menu? Same with Lobster? I eat both whenever I want. I drink alcohol as well typically a drink or two everyday and more on weekends. I don't eat or eat very little of vegetable or seed oils, gluten, and beans. It is not a diet it is a lifestyle and very easy and satisfying. If you don't like it or don't have have any interest fine..bk the fk off pls.Originally posted by Skell18 View PostThis! What happened to eating a balanced diet and exercising? Do you stay on this "diet" for the rest of your life? I eat, I drink, I enjoy life, I will go when I go, I will eat bacon whenever the hell I want to, I will eat whatever the f,uck I want to eat whenever I want to eat it. I had lobster for lunch today, why? I wanted to! Peace!

Could you please point me to a meal plan?Originally posted by piks101 View PostI am more concerned about the source of carbs then the carbs. Approx 100mg carbs, as calories approx 600, primarily from starches (potatoes, white rice); around 300 protein calories; and fats supply a majority (50-60%) of daily calories.

Again, the idea is based on 14th century practice. He is not rich off of his Bulletproof wares. He shared this information long before he started selling products. His day job internet security software supports his this venture. He is not or did not get rich of his Bulletproof business.Originally posted by Andy105 View PostThe guy who started it was a Silicon Valley investment guy named Dave Asprey. Squeezy, I thought you said not to make your point but not to personally criticize? Your post above say's otherwise... "Anyone who tells you otherwise is either stupid and gullible, or delusional with an eating disorder.
Also, I did not know you were so fat as you stated above. I think that is good info to know, so that people can consider the source when it comes to health and nutrition and your opinions regarding the matter.

lol Andy ... I can see how it's had to let it go if you've been taken in by the latest version of snake oil.
But I would suggest that anyone who's been taken in by it takes a step back, re-evaluates, and gets out ...

I mean - are there detailed studies of these people in Tibet who ate yak butter with tea for breakfast showing the amazing fat-burning qualities of undergoing ketosis were for their overall health and wellbeing for the entirety of their lives (probably up to the age of 40 if they were lucky!)?
Or could it be that they were healthy and needed almost unlimited fat and calories due to living in a world where there was absolutely no mechanisation and they worked long physically gruelling days just to stay alive - a level of physical work and exercise that would make most of our western sedentary asses cry with the exhaustion?
It's a fad - just like all the other things which aren't simply eating the right amount of the right things to balance out with your energy requirements based on your activity during the day. Simple equation really - eat the same amount of calories as you use up while ingesting the right things to make your body function.
And if it's as easy as that, why am I such a fat bastard you ask? Well - you have to make the most of the life that you live - and we have as long as we have on this Earth ... and then we die and that's the end of it ... so I will have another bacon sandwich and put my feet up in front of the fire please!
