Socialized medicine is a huge change for us, hard for capitalists and wanna' be capitalists to stomach.....I think it's time has come for this country though.

Not a good thing... I pay child support, am court ordered to provide health insurance for myself and my son (which I gladly pay the rate of $230 a month)

Most Americans don't understand the term communist. The term is pretty much used to describe someone who wants to change a political norm. I've heard some proposed luxury taxes like a special tax on tanning as "communist" by most people.

Then again it is pretty stupid to renounce a whole political philosophy that has only ever been realised in earnest several times throughout history and pointing out those few failures of it's implementation while maintaining a political dogma that is currently proving itself to be the biggest lie in history that has been tested in almost every western democracy that exists.

I suppose it's because of our collective weak human traits of greed and the need to simplify the world in to "them and us" or "goodies and baddies" ... but none the less it looks pretty stupid from where I'm sitting!
