Actually had my first opt-out of not going through the scanner last week. (They are pushing EVERY sheep now into one where before it was a random pick).

They actually do put their fingers in your pants but do not grab anything. They will also slide hands on the outside of your pants all the way up until they hit your nuts with their top finger. That seems to be the official stopping point.

Let's just say I have been friscked by cops plenty of times and even been to jail a few times but this was probably the most touchy experience around my privates I have ever had.
