Yorkshire tea is strong but doesn't have that fresh tea aroma or taste.

I've had it. I don't have a strong opinion either way. I'd happily drink a cup, but wouldn't go out of my way to find it.

Milk & sugar, just with milk? I don't know anyone that questions the integrity of the tea beyond that.

But I suppose that's how it is with snus in Sweden too.

        Cheers

Meanwhile the rest of the world doesn't even have a decision to make, they just drink it! Requiring fresh milk from a cow in order to enjoy tea is what many would refer to as fancy pants nuttery

When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

You should try PG Tips, 'The Strong One', its the 'Extreme' of the tea world. I imagine its mostly Assam (the rustica of tea lol)

Its all about the Twinings everyday tea for me, we have tons of the stuff at home. Assam or English breakfast in the morning, ceylon in the evenings. Tetley is vile, cannot understand how people drink the stuff, for me anyway, its durt. I love Earl Grey in the afternoon, with or without milk its wonderful. If in the ROI Lyons Red Label tea is wonderful also the green label. Oh Sainsbury's own red label tea is actually quite nice too, always have a small box of that in the house.

Also sugar in tea would be banned if I ruled the world, ruins the flavour IMO, same with coffee. Just milk that is all that is needed, full fat too non of this namby pamby semi skimmed and skimmed crap

Can't remember the brand but had a chai not too long ago and thought it would be right up your street, no sugar needed the natural sweetness was very prominent, fantastic stuff.

Seriously try sugar in the raw/raw cane sugar. Regular sugar in tea does ruin it. This stuff is really good with it.

Hmm, I've tried a few. Equal exchange do a good organic one. Twinings or clipper are ok but not really masala-y, still both perfectly nice drinks though. If I really got into it I'd buy it loose.

Nah mate, tea should not be sweet at all, I am not big into sweet things anyway so it would totally ruin it.

Twinings loose teas are alright. I had a tin of Harney(sp?) and Sons earl grey that was really nice. I drink mostly PG tips in the morning. St. Dalfour Classic Breakfast is very good too. During the day I like yerba mate or genmai cha (green tea with brown rice). In the kombucha I make I like using green tea the best. Divine Tea Company make a nice rooibos.

I usually drink tea straight, but a little cream can be good.
