They did another one a few weeks ago, about cracking code which got me thinking. It was on a time remaining countdown clock that had about an hour left, so i didn't do it. It is now closed but if you find this stuff interesting, click the code explained ...... The code wasn't explained when i looked, just the code was on the page. If i've got some time this week i might give it a go, just for fun.

I got a 5. I'll bet if I hadn't been late for work and in a hurry, I could have done better. Shame I'm too old and not British.

Wow are they really that desperate for new recruits? Next thing you know they will set up a Facebook page to help recruit new people.

I actually read it, and found it entertaining enough to finish. Got told "You scored 7/8, you should consider applying for the job of Intelligence Officer." Too bad I'm not a British citizen, I guess. £24,750 a year wouldn't be a bad starting salary.

I got bored with it and clicked randomly on the test. I scored 5/8: "You should consider applying, particularly if you enjoyed the exercise".

    MI5 here I come!

Are You Clever enough for MI5?

Take the Security Service's Internet test (and there could be a job if you are)

The Security Service is inviting the public to take part in a test of their mental agility and judgment.
Score highly enough in the 15-minute online test and you’ll even be invited to apply for a job as an MI5 Intelligence Officer – a post for which the service is currently recruiting.
The exercise is certainly more John Le Carre than BBC One’s now departed drama series Spooks (which was never too concerned about realism). Players are confronted with the sort of scenario faced by desk officers every day. In this case, a number of known foreign spies working in London have been ordered home with immediate effect, and in suspicious circumstances.
