Don't get me wrong,I know they're really good snuffs,and I can tell I will like them later.At the moment they are both well beyond my skill level.I'll be putting them up until I got my technique down.You never know,they could end up being my favorites down the road.

For CJ and LJ

You have to take snuff in gently, particularly with the very fine varieties. Try just breathing the snuff in as opposed to sniffing it. For the Americans, and the toasts, take a nice tight pinch, and release a little bit by rubbing your fingers together, and lightly breathing it in. It takes practice, but isn't hard once you get the trick.

I must be a fast learner,for I have nearly mastered the Wilson's High Toast #22.I understand everyone has their own method.For me,the best way to snuff anything is with short,sharp sniffs.I take a nice size pinch,hold it tight,then rub my fingers while I take a short sniff.I do this 3 or 4 times then pinch again and repeat on the other nostril.BTW,this #22 is fantastic.

PS-Thanks for the advice lxskllr but if I just breathe in the dry stuff it always goes too far.I'm sure there's a technique there I'm missing.

Wow, I guess I am following in your footsteps when ordering from Nicotine Rush. My first sample was Rooster, and now they are sending me Wilsons #22. Rooster was a bit much for me, but I am new, hopefully the Wilsons will be a bit better.

I am loving Old Paris though, and I start my mornings out with McChrystals O&G. I'm still very much into my newbie phase so I am noticing some preference changes already.

I'm the exact reverse of you. The sharp sniff seems to shoot the finer snuffs to the back of my head :^D Whatever works eh? :^)

Yep,from my understanding different methods work for different people.I'm still gonna work on your method as I am still a newb.
Just for clarification when I say sharp I don't mean strong,just a quick,controlled sniff.When I feel the snuff hit the nose I quit sniffing.Then repeat till pinch is gone.

Mainly nasal snuff that I have yet to try. Right now my preferences are all over the place because I am new at it. I like certain menthols, McChrystals O&G is my favorite atm. But I also really enjoy the F&T Old Paris style snuffs, but so far I prefer those at night for some reason.

I want to try out the floral ones, I have Toque Rose and Violet heading to me as well as 2 Coke flavored mini bullets. I, so far, and this comes with my new experience to snuff, really enjoy the moister snuffs right now.

So, long story short, anything that I can try out.
