Mr. Snuff Shipping/Receiving times problem

I did not receive my order yet... I spoke with Dave at Mr. Snuff and it did ship on Wednesday 11/17/10 But the Royal Mail will not entertain any inquiry until 28 working days after postage, It could also be held up at customs due to them inspecting anything powder because of some sort of terrorist plot with smuggling some sort of powder explosive hidden in ink cartrideges or something to that affect...

In any case they are re-sending the F&T and the Touqe Spanish Gem part of my order at no charge to make it right for the inconvenience of my 1st order going amuck along with the other problems with it to begin with ... But due to the Snow storm and the warehouse being closed they are going to have a backlog of orders and alot of them will be dalayed. Dave is putting mine to the top of the list and the 1st to be filled and a rush on it when the warehouse re-opens, He is confident that my original order will show up sometime within the 28 working days or thereof... That would still put me at christmas eve for 27 days and after xmas for 28... Dave is a very nice person and is showing Great customer satisfaction in doing this... I was unfortunatly one of the unlucky few of customs hold up or missing in the mail or such with my 1st order it would seem.. Great!!!

If it weren't for the severity of the issue (i.e., out of Spanish Gem) this would make a
hell of a soap opera ... right up there with Eric's woes.

Now all you need is a once-in-a-lifetime blizzard in Florida to finish the year in grand style.

That's good customer service.. Yeah my order hasn't shipped yet due to the snow storms. I'm
sad because I'll be out of my precious hdt by the time it gets here. I have to ration it out which sucks cause I like to use it all the time.

Your not too far off with a blizzard here in Florida... They have freeze warnings for tonight here where I live... 32 degrees and just to the north and west of me it could go into the 20's... Great!!!

Hey Guys,

first of all thanks for all of your patience. Reading through the the thread you have have it pretty much worked out. The whole terrorist thing has definitely not helped. Apparently a couple of shipments of some sort of explosives disguised as toner (ie powdered ink) were found in Dubai and Manchester. As a result all parcels via airmail are now x-rayed on leaving the UK. I presume that all parcels coming into the US which are scanned and found to contain powder may be going through secondary inspection. This does not stop orders but it has to slow things down. That is the only explanation I can think of for the fact that we have gone from maybe 2% of orders being delayed to closer to 6%. More snuff woes.

Added to all the usual woes I have been out the office for a month which hasn't helped at all. The bulk of my time was taken up sorting out and streamlining (or beginning the processes of streamlining) processes at the warehouse in the UK. I really apologize but I had precious little time to do much else and poor Natasha was pretty much overwhelmed holding down the fort back this side of the pond.

I am back in the office now, and slowly working through the backlog of emails etc. If you are waiting for a reply rest assured it is not because I don't care...I really do.

The warehouse finally got out a bunch of orders yesterday. Royal Mail still isn't picking up so they drove to the main depot through the blizzards and ice and dropped off several sacks of parcels. Dedicated staff! How quickly the Post Office are able to sort through their backlog is open to question of course.

Weather in Scotland looks like it will break for the next couple of days so with any luck they will clear all the current orders.
