Newby Need help choosing sweet snus

Hello,
I know nothing about snus, coming from france and want to quit cigarette. I'm using ecig (electronic cigarette) for 6 months but I need more than nicotine and regularly take a cigarette to have that whole tabaco alcaloids I guess...
So from what I read it's *salty* and this I'm a bit afraid of.
I really prefer sweet taste as I already use sweet juices with my e-cig...
So what should I use ? I also don't like bergamot or menthol so much but I'm willing to make an effort...And I don't want the usa snus...

If you are looking for a tobacco flavored snus I would recommend Pioneer. It does have a hint of salt but nothing overwhelming. If you are wanting flavored snus I would try Northerner. The citrus menthol has a light flavor to it that lasts a long time. You might also find most of the white portions out there to your liking as they tend to tone down their flavors a bit. You can get both of those at northerner.com Just some advice, don't stock up on any particular brand as your taste will change over time.

I was just re reading your comment and am not thinking you might want to try Jakobssons as that snus is a bit on the sweeter side. Also, Thunder Frosted is well liked by a lot of people making the switch from smokes to snus. Congratulations on your decision to make the switch. Trying new snus is 1/2 the fun so just enjoy.

Bonjour, and welcome from the UK. I strongl recommend Ettan but unfortunately because it is made by Swedish Match and we are in the EU at this current time it is hard to get. But you found the right product - snus is the answer! You get used to the salt and grow to love snus, i did anyway - so i recommend just order 4 cans... and try out different brands. If not, maybe you could make your own snus easily... and sweeten it how you like or even make it taste similar to Ettan. Bon chance :-)

If you like sweet and you like Wintergreen (which perhaps is an acquired taste) then Jakobbson's Wintergreen is available to the EU...

Actually i forgot... Jakobbson's Flader is lovely... though not a stark ie. strong. It has an elderflower with a hint of apple flavour. But i think the nicotine is only 8mg.

How do I put the loose one's in my mouth? by making it compressed and round or envelopping it with thin paper?

I'll surely will quickly "diy" as I already do my juice for the electronic cigarette and have a lot of flavours and sweetener...I make my own vanilia flavour for example and wonder if I could make some juice to put in the e-cig with loose snus just by let it rest 2 or 3 week in vetetable glycerin and by doing so catch all alcaloids... I'm an optimist, I really don't know if it's feasible...

Good luck. Pioneer is not available in the EU i think.

Unfortunately if you want a stark (strong) snus which i recommend then there isn't much in the way of sweet snus for you i believe unless you DIY. I say, learn to love the salt! You will get used to it. And snus is much much better than e-cigs in my opinion!

- notherner boost 6 mg with guarana, I love guarana
- jackobson Flader 9mg
- thunder berry 16
- a pack snusx portion to mix my own aromas...

i'll tell you end week how it is for me
if I take 2 snus of 8mg I'll have 16mg I guess if I need strong...

Too bad the thai and ettan is not for eu

the snus WILL do the trick! But... it may take time to find the brands you like.

Plus... the Northerner boost may be missing some of the alkaloids you are looking for as it is 'purified' but... it has guarana etc

Welcome! Looks like a good start but really I think you should have ordered a try out box. Snus is unlike other tobacco products and may take a bit of time to get used to. The uptake os slow, not like a cigarettes at all..

Good luck! And if you find you do not like something that you ordered a ton of the exchange is an awesome place to trade a can or two to try stuff.

If you are looking for sweet the Boost will fit the bill. The flavor lasts a long time and although it is only 6mg the nicotine comes on quick.

What about all those new Thunders? Chocolate and Coffee and whatnot. I don't pay attention to them but I've seen them around, right? Or the dreaded Probe Whiskey? That one, as I recall, is very sweet (and disgusting). But sweet.
