He is not all powerfull, but with a dem president and a dem controlled congress, he can do just about anything he wants. He passed healthcare reform and several other big ticket items with almost 0 republican support, so he can get shit done. And he does, the last time a president got this much shit done this quickly, booze was illegal. The question is, has he used this power for good or for evil? Last I checked he tripped the war effort, trippled spending, helped out big corps (that should have died) in a way no other president has, hasn't done anything for gay rights, renewed the patriot act instead of letting it die etc etc etc.

I hate sarah palin, so this next part is NOT an endorsment of her in any way.

I would rather have someone who wants to shoot animals from airplanes (which would rock) than Obama. Idiots can only get so much done because they are idiots and usually harmless, intelligent criminals that are part of an organized effort do evil however can be very dangerous. I judge Obama as the later.

I think they were just saying that an award made by some buy who invented dynamite doesn't mean anything at all, and has been given to all kinds of stupid/bad people like foreign dictators and jimmy carter. There is no requirement that you are smart or anything to get it so it's largely just useless like msot awards.


It's just that every time a country overinflates it's currency it leads to disaster. Every time.
