True story. Had a keyboarding teacher that had no idea what time zones were. She thought when a commercial said a show would be on at "7.....6central" you could buy "central" cable and watch all your favorite shows an hour early.

VA was the place where I saw the most people that may have been incredibly intelligent but just had no common sense. I don't see this too often when I go see my sister in VA Beach/Chesapeake and more easternly locations and I can't say i've ever spent time in Wetern Virginia.....but Central Virginia had a lot of smarts and no common sense. It was kind of painful to see.

Yeah Fluco is a really strange place. It's filled mostly with upper middle class people at the lake or in the woods near Jefferson's home but it's like people wish they had less money. Not for any kind of spiritual reason like they're converting to Buddhism but just because they think thats so cool. Meanwhile the poorer population in the actual cities not the sub divisions are desperate for more money but find those people who wish they were poor provide no help. You have been posting a lot on formal logic of late. In terms of formal logic the entire discussion on both sides has failed due to the fallacy of an "undistributed middle"

Each side is arguing for a certain social norm based on individual rights. However, as of yet no one has demonstrated how proving a point is one sphere has any relevance to the other sphere. the middling term is undistributed.
