Does that liberty also include married couples who do not want to serve the homosexuals (for whatever reason: it´s THEIR business)? Because nowadays the homos are trying to lynch such people, Seems your liberty is a bit one sided.
Is a death (or other) threat to a homo a bad thing, but the same against Betty and Dick Odgaard a good thing? Strange...

Forced, eh? Who is forcing you to marry another man?
Though I will say this: Threatening a shop owner is not the way to seek retribution. There are far more effective methods.
Being gay is not a choice, you can't tell someone gay to start plowing chicks, it just doesn't happen, the same way i couldn't tell you to start having sex with other men and expect you to comply.
Much like the legalisation of cannabis... Liberty and equality will prevail.

You're treating homosexuality as if it's some sudden occurrence, recent phenomenon, or as you put it earlier, "fashionable".
So by your logic, you deem it fit to repress an entire group of people, because you "despise" their ways?
That article states that it was a Dutch Paedophile Party (not the 'Homosexual lobby')... That's like mixing up GLAAD with NAMBLA. You need to get your facts straight.

I would like to pose this quastion to you... You claim that homosexuality is 'fashionable' and a 'lifestyle'... Which implies that you believe that homosexuality is a choice.
So, here's the quastion, laid oat in a scenario... There's a heterosexual in a bar, and (s)he's talking to some gay bloke(tte).
Do you believe that it is remotely possible for the heterosexual to be tempted into having gay sex?
----------
P.S. You still haven't addressed how LGBT equality will eventually force everyone (homosexual or otherwise) into having gay sex -- Still waiting on that one.
+1!

GN i know there is a lot of stuff going on in the Scandanavian countires that seems really strange. But saying being gay is alright will not turn your children gay. Being gay happens by being gay. I could hang out with gay dudes all day and watch gay porn as a full time job. It still wouldn't intrigue me. Sometimes dudes just like getting slammed in the turd cutter, and that's ok. Noone in society is going to tell you you should be gay or encourage you to be gay. I've never seen or heard of that. The reason you see a higher rate of gay men being strange or different is typically because they were either abused/tormented for being gay.

And anyone who wants to say they oppose it because they don't understand it, you don't seem to understand a shit ton about gravity or combustion engines, or economics, but you still stay on the ground, drive a car, and and spend money everyday.
For those that want to thump their bible and say being gay is unnatural. A lot of things are unnatural. Like a bush randomly setting on fire, talking snakes, creating a person from a rib bone, walking on water, healing the blind, or getting your basis for what is natural by what a bearded man in the sky from a really old book says.
yeah, i could have worded it better. basically, people fear a change to their accepted status quo. and religion always adds heat to a fire. it's all come a bit fast in the last couple years.
the abc television show "modern family" depicts a mixed race marriage and a homosexual couple raising a baby. the title itself aims to convince you that this is the regular normal way to raise a family now.
imagine if the "andy griffith show" depicted andy nailing barney fife while raising the young boy "opie". children absorb everything they know about the world from what they are exposed to.
I imagined it... I can't stop laughing. There's tears in my eyes. Seriously, thanks for that. It made my night.
I've only watched Modern Family a few times, but if I recaw correctly; there isn't any gay sex shown in the program... The drawn comparison is a 'tad bit off', don't ya think..?

Also... Mixed race marriages? Oh no! What is the world coming to?!

PPS -- Could you imagine Aunt Bee's reaction if she walked in during the act? Hahaha!
homosexuality is certainly not new. most reasonable people did not hate or fear it. it was understood to be fairly uncommon and not the normal or usual way of things. the sudden push in media to convince us that it is completely normal, and like half the world is doing it is what makes many people apprehensive. the abc television show "modern family" depicts a mixed race marriage and a homosexual couple raising a baby. the title itself aims to convince you that this is the regular normal way to raise a family now. imagine if the "andy griffith show" depicted andy nailing barney fife while raising the young boy "opie". children absorb everything they know about the world from what they are exposed to. I guess myself as well as many others are no yet convinced that homosexuality is not an issue of nurture over nature. that is to say it may not be "a choice", but is certainly impacted by the culture and environment is which you mature.

Thunder, you should run for public office. Elections would get a hell of a lot more entertaining.
But seriously, while I agree with Thunder and Crow on this, I feel like (based on what GN and Frankie are saying) that things are headed in a much more liberal direction in Europe, some might say scarily so. And I do feel that parents do have a right to teach their children what they think is right; that's the most basic expression of free speech. It's the only way to keep ideas (good or bad) alive.
Sweden has shown its helpful side to the refugees travelling to the North through numerous peaceful countries during their quest to find the best welfare....
