All we know is that he was arrested, held for 5 hours and interogated, and eventually sent home because the DA did not feel it had enough evidence to prosecute for anything. I think that is pretty telling in itself. Either the facts were in Zimmerman's favor or the DA is blatantly corrupt. Both are plausible scenarios. We'll see what the jury thinks.

I'm farily certain this gentleman is guilty as sin, but I just though i'd point out something which NBC (and others) have done which I don't feel is fair. This is straight out of the Fox News playbook, they just blatantly cut up the 9-11 call and moved around the words to make it sound like Zimmerman was saying "He's suspicious because he's black", which never occured at any point in the 9-11 call.

They edited the 9-11 call to make it sound racist, when the original call was not. There has been so much misinformation regarding this whole thing.

• Zimmerman: This guy looks like he’s up to no good. Or he’s on drugs or something. It’s raining and he’s just walking around, looking about.
• Dispatcher: OK, and this guy — is he black, white or Hispanic?
• Zimmerman: He looks black.
