I can buy them a ten minute drive away from here. He has limited stock but nevertheless it's pretty cool.

I hear you bro. Me too!Originally posted by FrostedI especially like them because they're very discreet and taste great with coffee, no need for cold storage or storage space for that matter.

This is a pretty impressive review mate. These things have been around for years, when I decided to give up smoking 6 years ago, i'd forgotten about them. Now looks like the time that i should get a stock in place, i really like the sound of them now. We have a traditional sweet shop in town that also sells tobacco, and tobacco bits and bobs. He did sell them, but when i ran out of snus and asked him about them, he said "sorry, we're not allowed to sell them" ??? wtf, i said "no, you're wrong, tobacconist all over the uk sell them, i can get them online" I just said, your loss and walked out, he is a bit oddOriginally posted by FrostedThis tin is going to last me 3 days - it's near the end of the second day and I've got 17 bits left. I've only used 2 pieces of snus.
I made a mistake in my cost calculations then. There were at least 35 pieces in the tin. If a tin lasts 3 days it will work out the same as using snus - about £40.00 a month.
I'm pretty much a chain snusser but I have no desire whatsoever to chain these things. The nic is pretty impressive.
I especially like them because they're very discreet and taste great with coffee, no need for cold storage or storage space for that matter. I also like that I can get them within two days. I might take a walk into town this weekend and have a look in some of the shops to see if they've got any.
It's bugging me as to why I didn't know about these things when I first decided to give up smoking 4 years ago.

The Grim and Triepel... and the Gawith Hoggarth twist... are both fire-cured from what i recall so maybe would be higher in TSNA. We need to get Grim and Triepel to produce an air-cured version!

I've had some of that mate, think about chewing on a cigar. That's about the best description i can come up withOriginally posted by Frostedok - it looks like people are saying that you need to spit with this stuff. http://www.snuffstore.co.uk/black-pi....html?cPath=82

I read somewhere that Neftóbak is available in the UK. You could always do what Icelanders do: wet the tobacco a bit, and use an Icetool or Pris Master (or a plastic syringe with the end cut off).

I like the way they're so small - ikkle cute rabbit sh*te.
I find it odd that it's all sweet. There's surely got to be some natural tobacco sticks around. I'll have a look.

I haven't gotten the Grimm and Triepel yet, but I'll definitely review when I get them. Frosted, I can't vouch for chew outside of America, but the American brands are uniformly low in TSNAs. That might be typical worldwide due to the processing methods, but I don't know.
LoL Vulpes. I like your flavor descriptions. Oliver Twist. Available in any flavor you want as long as it's licorice :^D
They're tasty little things, but the little is my problem with them. It's like there's nothing there. I'd like them to be a bit bigger. Double or triple the size would be good imo.
Edit:
The point I was trying to make regarding American chew TSNAs, is American companies don't care about that. It's not like they're trying to keep them low. That's why I think it may be common due to the process, and any moist chew would be similar, but I don't know that for fact.

If you go to http://www.oliver-twist.dk/Webnodes/...range/Original the login is 2222 and fill in the form telling them that you'd like natural tobacco and how difficult it is to get Swedish Snus etc.

That's a good shout Dog.
I've been looking at them but not quite knowing what I'm looking at.
You see, I'm concerned about TSNA content and I know for certain that Oliver Twists have been tested at 1.5 as opposed to snus at 2.2. If the TSNA content is known to be low I'd certainly have a go.
I also do NOT want to spit.

You know.......it might be worth writing to one of these twist companies.............and let them know of the potential migration from snus to their product..........and would they mind making a product that is less sweet and more natural in flavoring to appeal to the snus users who can no longer get snus in the EU

by SnusOn.ComOliver Twist are small discreet tobacco bits in a variety of flavors. Made of whole tobacco leaves with a natural nicotine content. You use it the same way as snus or Swedish Chew, place it somewhere in your mouth, and if you wish for a release of additional nicotine you can chew on it gently once in a while. ...
