I have been on the look-out for a mini for more oomph. I feel like the large portions might be noticeable but the mini don't seem to have enough nic in them. So far the only one I've seen Taboca and MC.
Any others?
Has anyone tried these brands and is it worth the extra money? _________________

If you are in America, you can't get the MC, has Cuban tobacco in it. There used to be a stronger mini, Mocca +. But it disappeared a few months ago. I have heard talk that there should be more coming soon.
BUT....
The size thing is completely in your head. I too thought the exact same thing when I first started using. But after a few weeks, I was driven to regular sized portions for more nicotine. After a week, I never noticed the bigger, and no one else can notice them either. So best recommendation, just give the regular size a chance and soon they will seem so normal to you. |

IMO the Cuban tobacco thing is a scam to justify higher prices but I digress. The Taboca minis are really great and last longer than the Mocca + did. V2 has some strong minis on the way too. _________________ KNEEL BEFORE ZOD! |

I wish I could agree with you there, but the regular portions are definitely noticable; I find myself sticking only to minis when I'm out, so I'll definitely give the Taboca strong minis a shot. And perhaps the v2 when they come out, though I only ever hear horrendous things about v2! |

It all depends on the individual's facial features. I can snus with regular portion all day long at work, and no one notices a thing. I'm an RN, so if no one notices working in a medical clinic, I'd say they're pretty well hidden. _________________

There is a poll up on the forum created by Joakim and Markus from SM. If you would like to see a stark mini let your voice be heard.

I do mostly minis and can't take too strong of a nicotine hit. The Taboca strong minis are perfect for me, which means they most likely will not be enough of a nicotine hit for you, if that is what you are looking for, even if the fig flavoring in them are incredible.
Have you tried the Oomph purified portions? They come in either 3 mg or 6 mg of nicotine, but are supposed to have a very quick and hard hit, similar to a cigarette, because they are 'purified' (whatever the hell that means). I haven't tried them, but this is what TropicalBob said about them. He said to not be fooled by the low nic level of the Oomphs.
I found TB's post. Here's what he said:
"To my knowledge, there is only only one tasteless snus. Wine & Dine. And it has a kick unlike any other. It's fast and hard, but you taste nothing. Do not be deceived by its "mere" 6mg rating for nicotine. It kicks harder than 16mg, which is more like "time release".
These are dry portions, so I like to dip one in Creme de Cocoa or Kahlua liquor before using it."

No one knows the nic level. It isn't listed on Northerner and it isn't listed on the can. |

Purifying tobacco means they changed the Nicotine acid sequence by binding a protein to the DNA, this makes the Nicotine more water soluble hence the rapid uptake. |

Can someone throw a picture on of the Northerners Portion of the Oomph or elixr? All I've seen so far is the can. _________________

Sorry, don't have Elixr.
Northerner Energy is the same size as Oomph.
One thing not obvious in the photo is that the purified is super thin.
Top -> down:
1) Oomph Citrus & Menthol (purified)
2) Tre Ankare mini
3) Mocca Mint mini
4) Granit white regular
5) Onyx
