Thunder Extra Stark, Strong Portion

Man these are tasty. Between these and general strong white portions are the best Strong snus I've tried. I've got a tin of lucky strike strong white portion,bold and nites just chilling in the fridge I think one of them will take thunder and general place haha. Tried odens extreme los but that stuff was nasty...........still used it though.

This stuff is delicious! It reminds me of General OP but with more flavor. It has a very nice tangy citrus flavor to it which lasts about an hour. The portion material is quite soft on the gums and the tobacco flavor is outstanding. My only complaint is that it doesn't come in an 8 mg portion. I chained 3 of these in about 4 hours and could really feel the nicotine come on. I wold not really consider this to be an all day snus but rather a nice morning or weekend snus.

The portion bags are somewhat big, bigger than the regular SM 8mg portion bags. I've now started tearing them in half, and double barreling the halves to maximize concealment.
This stuff is too god damned peppery, but other than that it is quite tasty. Best when wet, not so good dry.

*Hiccup* I think I just found my upper limit in nicotine level. Who'd a thought a silly little 3 mg increase above my last stark portion would pack such a punch?

I've also had to refine my impression that I prefer "tobacco-forward" snusii. I still prefer "traditional" snus, but definitely want a little bergamot or spruce flavoring to set off the tobacco -- Thunder Original's tobacco's-all-you-get recipe yields that "licking the ashtray" effect... or maybe it's just the bile kicked up by the nic hit.

Waste not, want not: I'm keeping the can in the freezer for those mornings after a night of whiskey. This stuff will enhance and extend the gastrointestinal effect hard stuff will have on me. Sometimes you just want to drink to *die*... sittin' on the floor, Indian style...

I read about "extra stark" and stuff... but thought "yeah.. whatever" :P

Then i took 2 portions and after about half an hour started puking.
I was on second floor and no toilet nearby so i just grabbed the window open and let it flow :oops:

Anyway, really good snuff... never had one that doesn't smell before.
I'm just used to white portions.

General Extra Sterk has become my daily snus, but I keep some Thunder Wintergreen Extra Sterk on hand to pop in every so often. The General ES only maintains my baseline buzz (double-barrelled), but those Thunders kick it up a couple of notches every second or third time I give them a chance (as in, whoa nelly, I'm just going to sit here, not move a muscle and enjoy this sensation for five minutes).

The wintergreen flavor is a nice departure too, but the real downside is that they lose that taste rapidly, becoming a useless wad of paper in my lip within 45 minutes of application. I can keep the Generals in for two or three hours and almost feel guilty spitting them out when I think I'm done (knowing some destitute kid in Sweden is going through life snusless). The Generals don't have quite the same nic kick anymore, but they win hands-down on stamina.

I think it's all a matter of what you've become accustomed to though. A regular Thunder user who tries an occasional General ES would probably report just the opposite.

Thunder's flavor depletion is definitely a non-subjective issue though. There's no getting around that -- they definitely lose their mouth appeal pretty quickly. That would probably make them a good right-before-bedtime snus.

Thunder orrig and frosted are now 80% of my orders. It's got the kick, and frosted is the only flavored snus that managed to not make it taste like some candy flavored shit or American dip.

I have my first one in now. The only Thunder's I've had was Frosted. This one is a snus that will knock your #%@& in the dirt! Very strong, good flavor. Very soft portion material, and very moist. I see why Tom changed his avatar!

Oh, goes good with coffee as well.
