my aluminium one makes the click sounds as you drag the plunger.
my stainless steel one is smooth as butter. no sound.
both are good... although i'm partial top the aluminium version because its lighter and matches my icetool can.

That's correct. No clicks nor ticks for that matter. 0,5ml per stripe on the plunger tells us how much it's ready to hold of course. IMO more than 1,5ml is just plain idiotic, as it doesn't do any more
than less. This, of course, is every users own thing to decide. Some people do larger ones just on account of their bigger mouths and things like that.

I agree on this. Sceptical at first, about the need of a pricey (~40 here in northern europe).
But then I got one, Stainless Steel 03ML - best ever. Just clean it every once in a while, and put more "lube",
like for instance olive oil (works for me well). Use it every day, wouldn't want to be separated from it anymore.
It's a bit like my other fiancé :)

I don't have one but I don't think there is any "click". I think the term just came about from what I have seen. Technically "ticks" might be more accurate.
