Jakobssons Icefruit, Portion

I liked it for the first 30 minutes with the minty taste and some "fruityness", but when it started to drip the taste got kinda weird. Got too salty and the mint at the same time doesnt fit too well, but this is my first minty tasting snus so I'll see how the other mint's are like. :)

I got to revisit this this past weekend due to tech work for my daughter's ballet, and I forgot how much I liked it. The flavor's unique, and it lasts awhile. Salty, yea, but that's one of the things I like about it. It's a flavored snus for adults. Complex, and not sweet at all. I like it a lot for summer use. I'd use it much more if I used more portions, but I wouldn't want to see it as a lös. That kind of flavor goes well with the portion format.

This is one I have thought of trying several times but never got around to it.

Today I did get to try it.

The taste reminds me of the flavoring in energy drinks like red bull, but after a couple of minutes that weird Gotlandssnus bitterness shines right through. I know a lot of people love their stuff but I pretty much hate the portions I have tried.

I still need to give one of the loose cans a try before I write them off forever.

I took a can of this to work with me today. I enjoyed it but don't think it will be a every day snus. Might throw in a can or 2 every 3rd or 4th order.

I kinda like the icefruit....because I don't like myself that much.....

If I am using portions I will not waste too much time with this snus. A portion every six months will do it for me.

Update: My local retailer had one can left--IF. I said above I wasn't even tempted. Well I caved and talked the guy out of it for free. One portion later and it's worth everything I paid for it. I suppose I can understand the name. Ice Fruit sounds a lot better than Salty Crap.

I had high hopes for this one but was disappointed. The initial taste is great, but that fades...quick. There's a stale taste to it after about 20-30 if that and I have to spit the portion out after that or I feel I'd get sick.

Overall 5/10...just wish the taste after 30 minutes was at least pleasant.

First can I got, I was initially turned off by the overbearing salt. I managed to fight through the salt and actually started liking the juicy fruit flavor. As I've tried more variety of snus, this one has fallen down the charts quickly. I do still enjoy it on occasion but it never has been a daily snus for me. I usually use a portion of this after a meal as a dessert. One can usually lasts months. Overall, not the worst I've had but certainly not the best.

It seems like there are no standards in this snus though, one can tastes decent and the other tastes awful. Maybe it's just me but this is the only snus in which this is really noticeable.
