01 Original Portion

Firstly, the taste of this snus is very good, if not typical SM profile. I very much enjoy good ol' Gen OP, and this has similar character, less the citrus notes. The addition of the ceder comes through slightly and over-all the flavor seems unending. For me, it is almost difficult to remove a snus with so much flavor left, even after 1.5 to 2 hours b/c I feel as though I'm wasting it.

Secondly, the pouch shape is wonderful! I find the snus perfectly comfortable and am rarely in the office without one in. The longer length is not noticably different than having a mini in.

Third, I found the drip to be slightly less than that of a NEW original portion, but still comparable to that of a can with a few days use on it. I like the presence of a small drip to help spread the flavor around. These portions do not disappoint, but stay more contained than say Gen OP or ES portions.

I can wholly recommend this snus to anyone for a go-round. Like all other snus, it will not be for everyone, but for those who are fans of the General line, have a need for concealability or experience trouble/discomfort with original portion size, this is an easy go-to.

I didn't care for this one, I've only used maybe 4 portions if that from the can before I put it back in the freezer. I liked the portion size/shape, but not the flavor, too salty and bitter, but then again I am just burned out on portions, they all taste bitter to me now.

Smell: There isn't much of one maybe say Light tobacco with fresh leaves
Portion: Long, narrow not very comfortable rarely left in for more that 45 min.

What taste there is I like . Light tobacco with a little herbal thing going on in the back. Odd that I like Gen. long and Long sterk so much and find this just uncomfortable for any real length of time. Of note, Its is very much "drip-less"

This is a good snus. I am mainly a los user and do not like po because of the drip.

It has a nice, subtle flavor, (I think it tastes like late summer in the woods) and the low/no drip feature is nice.

I do find that my gums are not a fan of the portion material but c'est la vie.

I may throw another can in a future order but it will in no way become a staple snus for me.

I was wondering how to transition from being used to a full size snus to a mini snus. This is just the ticket.

This has become a go-to snus for me. Mild flavor that never gets bitter even after 2 hours. I like the shape as it doesn't drift down to my gum line as all the other regular shaped snus do. Good for when I want a little more stealth.

The flavor for me is actually milder then Ettan white so if you like strong flavored snus this may not be for you. It has a very inoffensive flavor, mild tobacco with a bit of herbs and nuts thrown in. For those that have a hard time with traditional bergamot snus this is a very good alternative.

Bought 1 can of this it was OK but no cravings for another can.

I was very pleased to try this 01. I was a bit put off by the portion shape initially but I think that was because I was not used to it. It's long, but not as long and thin as the US Camel junk.

The flavor is bold. I do taste woodsiness and deep tobacco. The flavor lasts quite a long time (I've had one in for about 2 hours before w/o really noticing that it was the same snus) but it does drip. In fact I think it's dripless for the first half hour or so but then again with enough fluid they all drip. I find it softer than the white portions yet drier than the regular.

The interesting thing about this snus is the nicotine level. It's a standard portion so the nic isn't any higher than the rest but it hits you real hard. It's the biggest kick I've gotten out of a regular portion and for that reason alone it has a place. It's a good snus that I can use all day if I needed to but it's almost like they sprayed nicotine on the pouch after it was made. The 02 is almost too much of a kick in the head. I can't do two or three of them in a row.

I have found 01 to be [u]very[/u] subtle.

It's peppery, sweet, salty, and licorice all at once.

Because of the "low drip" design, it takes a while to get going.
Sometimes, I'll take a drink of water on the side I'm snusing on, to get it going...

I found it to have a strong spicey flavor, a bit too much. What I liked least was the new portion design.
