    Move Over Electronic Cigarettes...

This is a very interesting read. Not long ago, British American Tobacco started developing "non-tobacco" products; this appears to be the product they were intending to create. The most interesting aspect of the "inhaler" is that it delivers far higher levels of nicotine compared to electronic cigarettes -- apparently the device will deliver nicotine doses identical to conventional smokes. Additionally, the "inhaler" will have no electronic components. What do you think about this? Would you switch from snus if they are less expensive?

I wouldn't switch. I like real tobacco, and I'm not particularly in love with smoking anymore. I'll continue using a mix of real tobacco products, with the primary for being snus.

^ Same. I prefer the constant, discrete delivery of snus. Additionally, the inhaler will inevitably get banned indoors like e-cigs.

I wonder how different this is from the old inhalers they used to have to help you quit?

snus has got the cultural and historical significance - these things haven't
"With 700,000 smoking-related deaths per year in the EU, the European Commission should embrace the life-saving policy of tobacco harm reduction and eliminate its irrational ban on smoke-free products." - Brad Rodu.

Pass...just seems too "pharmaceutical" for me...I like the old-school feeling of throwing in a pinch. I live in the south, and let's just say it's not a strange thing to see folks with tobacco in their mouth! I'd feel like a dope sucking on an inhaler like an asthmatic (not that there's anything wrong with that)...

That article seems very much like an advertisement to me instead of a real piece. I'd give it a shot if it's cheap. I'll give anything a shot once. E-cigs suck though. Battery life was horrible and no MAOI's.

I'd be interested in trying it.

Then again the combo of the E-cig with snus is what worked for me. Not at the same time though.
